DISCOVERING DUONG LAM ANCIENT VILLAGE DAY TRIP
Duong Lam Ancient Village is known as a land of origin, embodying the root values of Vietnamese people in many aspects such as architecture, culture, and cuisine. It is the only village in Vietnam that still retains almost all public structures from communal houses, pagodas, temples, church, gate, 13 shrines and nearly 1,000 ancient houses.
We represent the people who living in the Village, and will share with you stories about culture, history and cuisine in the most intimate way through some creative experiences based on traditional values.
I. TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
- Visit ancient puplic structures: Ngo Quyen Tomb, Phung Hung Temple, Mia Pagoda, Mong Phu Gate, Tham Hoa Giang Van Minh Worship, the ancient house with 300-400 years old.

* ITINERARY
07h30: Pick you up at Hanoi the Old Quarter, drive 50km to Duong Lam Ancient village.
9:00AM: Warmly welcome you at Ngo Quyen Tomb and Phung Hung Temple. Walking around two of these places with a long history and stories associated with the lives of two famous Kings in Vietnamese history.
09:40AM Move to an ancient village by electric car. We start to walk around the village to visit public structures: Mong Phu village, Mr. The’s Ancient house, Mr. Hung’s Ancient house, Mrs. Lan’s Ancient house, Tham Hoa Giang Van Minh Worship house. You will admire an ancient village 300-400 years old, along with cultural, architectural, and historical stories of a rural Northern Delta region.
11:30AM: After walking, you will take a rest at Doai Community and get a foot bath with salt, wormwood and herbs to help relax your feet, circulate veins, enjoy tea and traditional candy specialty of the village.
12:00: Have lunch at Bep Lang Duong Lam with typical country rice dishes of the Northern Delta countryside.
13:00PM: Lunch break at Doai Community.
14:00PM: Watch shadow puppetry show, you can see the art of performing shadows by village actors, and learn about historical figures of the village.
15:00PM: You are taken to learn about local products, creative products based on the traditional value.
16:00PM: Comeback to Hanoi, ending the Tour.
